Honda CR-Z Mugen to have 200 PS - photos

A superchrger with hybrid system and only 200hp? I think 240 is fair.

It's ashamed, only 200hp for a 2011 car??

200PS is great for a car this size. Honda should be getting ideas to sell a Mass produced version of this car.

Just what the CR-Z needs! I like it. That's around 75hp more than the standard car. Now it just needs an electric-only mode for cities and limping to the nearest filling station and it could be the ultimate hybrid!

This is what Honda is about; making VTEC-inspired road-burners! The CR-Z may have gotten its mojo back with this hot version.

A bit disappointing really, if that's true. Apart from the fun of driving this is still meant to be an eco-car, and supercharged engines surely aren't up to the green bit as Turbos does I guess ? And the good powerband of supercharged powerplants are already made up by the electric motor anyway. I really do hope this is a turbocharged one rather than supercharged, but anyway, it would still definitely be highly anticipated !!!! Hope they make it super light as well !!
