Aggressive styling, supercharged performance

The New York Auto Show is starting to wind down, but that hasn't stopped Lexus from unveiling a one-off CT200h in the Big Apple.

Created by Fox Marketing, the bespoke model features a wide body kit with modified fascias, revised side skirts and an aggressive rear diffuser. Other highlights include a Carizzma Cinnamon paint job, tinted headlights and 20-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the cabin is tastefully restrained as there's Yonaka Ronin racing seats, aluminum trim and illuminated Lexus logos in the door panels.

Under the hood, the 1.8-liter engine has been outfitted with an Eaton supercharger, a Climax Racing intake manifold, and a high-performance intercooler. While performance specifications weren't released, Lexus estimates the four-cylinder produces approximately 300 hp (224 kW / 304 PS).

I normally dont like these overdesigned concept cars, but, one for me please, without the rear diffuser. Who's your daddy Scirocco R :D

This is a CT on Steriods, but yeah the rear diffuser is a little over done and doesn't fit the look of the car at all.

well if someone offered this in a showroom (minus all the bling bling), i might be tempted. atleast u can pretend to be green in a hybrid, and still have 300+ hp. nice

I can't understand this phenomena, first the back is purely overdone-kind of 18 years old make, then the front is usual japanese tune design wise-I kinda like it, but the spoiler lip is too thick and only makes this car slower in real world. While the worst is the deep lip wheel that does not work on CT overall design, it may work on big SUV, but in hatchback and it is a hybrid, this wheel looks weird and offers back step in term of aero efficiency (think of Volvo eDrive wheel, it is good looking and very efficient, wheel manufacturer has to start make such thing over this useless deep lip).

I might be fast but its looks far too showy and vulgar.

Subtly is the key in my book. It's already a nice design. Don't overdo it.
