According to Benzinsider, the next Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series Coupe will be sticking with the 6.3 liter (6,208 cc) naturally-aspirated V8, despite speculation that the model would be switched over to the newer and more efficient 5.5 liter biturbo V8 engine.
The report says that the power plant will come with some modifications and produce 507 PS (373 kW / 500 bhp). That relatively modest output suggests those modifications will be made to improve fuel-economy on the the large block V8 unit.
The C63 AMG Black Series Coupe will, as usual, be lower and come with it's own body kit (wider) compared to the standard C63 AMG Coupe.
Buyers of the 2012 C63 AMG Black Series Coupe, according to Benzinsider, will also have a few add-on options to choose from including a rear spoiler and a rear-seat bench, as the standard model won't have one. Color options will be limited to five - of those, black and white are sure to be included.
Transmission will likely be the seven-speed Speedshift.
The C63 AMG Black Series Coupe will debut shortly after the sedan variant is introduced first later this year.
