Chrysler has rolled out the new 2012 300C SRT8 at the New York auto show.

The 2012 300C SRT8 features a massive 6.4 liter Hemi V8 good for 465 bhp (347 kW / 471 PS) coupled to a five-speed automatic transmission.

Details are scarce or vague on this 2012 model (Chrysler elected to skip a 2011 edition of this car) but the automaker says the 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) sprint will be in the high 4-second range and the car will have a top speed of 175 mph (282 km/h).

This 2012 300C SRT8 is 0.5 inches (13 mm) lower than a standard 300C and rides on 20-inch forged-aluminum wheels.

Inside there's a carbon trim highlights, a leather steering wheel and a new blue-lit instrument panel.

A Black Chrome package will be an available option on this model when it goes on sale in North America in the third quarter of this year.

While every other manufacturer is going to great (+expensive) lengths lengths to reduce capacity and make engines more efficient and yet more powerful, chrysler just goes and bores out the old engine to increase power. Mmmm- Kinda sums up the company. The easy way out car company. And why they'll never have a dime of mine.

Mercedes must be making a fortune selling its front bumper from the C-Class AMG sports-appearance package! But seriously...first the MOPAR rally-car, and now this. Chrysler needs to get some designers instead of picking up kids hanging around 7-11 reading car tuning magazines to design their modified cars! I seriously mean it. That's what it looks like they are doing...

Actualy we saw the teased photos of the headlights last year and before releasing A6 photos so we can't say it looks like A6 It looks good, not ugly as people commented before when it released. This car needs an additional 1 speed for the gear box.

All in all a great package, for what I expect will be a reasonable price. Looks very good in SRT guise, huge fan of the horsepower, and still pulls off the muscle car aura in a classy way. One of Chrysler's better executions since its resurrection.

. Also, the insulation amount is dependent on the climate. Ideally, the box has the measurements of either 2 X 4s or 2 X6s. Fiberglass insulation is also often installed. For aesthetic purposes, the owner may choose to have his box painted in such a way that would match it to the area where it is placed
