Scion FR-S concept teased for NY debut [video]
A rebadged Toyota FT-86
Get ready for another installment of the Toyobaru saga as Scion has just released a teaser video for their version of the Subaru / Toyota FT-86 concept.
While nothing is official, a quick look at the teaser site's source code reveals a number of references to the FR-S name (for Front-engined Rear-wheel drive Sports car). This isn't terribly surprising as previous reports have indicated that Toyota trademarked the name in 2010.
No information was released, but the FR-S will undoubtedly feature a boxer engine and a six-speed manual transmission.
The car will be unveiled on April 20th, so stay tuned for details.

why would you need a teaser when everyone in the world knows how it would look like?? what a waste of effort.

Ha! probably why it's so short, i suppose they're trying to create some mystery where there long since ceased to be any.

this car would be a big hit if its competitively priced......but i do love the look and the engineering of it. The price would determine the success of this car.
