M3 GTS Sedan Concept is still in the development phase and is not sporting the full GTS assortment as on the M3 GTS Coupe

Here are the first set of shots of the upcoming BMW M3 GTS Sedan Concept.

The M3 GTS Sedan prototype spotted here is not a production-ready model and isn't sporting the full GTS assortment. Still, it's rolling on those 19-inch alloy wheels fitted with big brakes and wearing a modified front bumper and a new rear spoiler.

We can expect the M3 GTS Sedan to boast the same power figures as the GTS Coupe - 450 PS (331 kW / 444 bhp) from a 4.4 liter V8. Although, the concept car that was previewed to a select group of journalists was said to have an output below that figure.

BMW will take the M3 GTS Sedan to a limited production run probably later this year.

Hope the M3 Coupe bhp figures remain in the Sedan version. Otherwise, The Usual Suspects of C63, RS4 and CTS V Sedans will have it for breakfast!

There's no RS4 yet. The CTS? I'll politely 'lol' at that. It's a toss up between the Merc and the BMW. Both cars are great. It just comes down to personal taste. Still think the BMW will be better to drive and the Merc more 'fun' but not as quick on the track.

i'm glad that the Merc and the BMW feel different to drive.. if ur after an epic soundtrack and neck-snapping speed go fr the AMG.. if ur more of a kind who looks after poise and delicacy, the M3 will win hands down..

But here is the dirty little secret. The NEW v8 and v10 have issues, ask any BMW mechanic, and you must rev them to make power, they lack torque. So why not have an E39 M5 for 25k. You can put CAI and chip and make 500 hp with gobs of torgue not to mention the car will draw more looks than this current M3 that looks like any other 3 series.

Isn't the idea of M is to build a subtle performance car, then M car should be 98% identical on look, but 100% different on performance manner. With respect to tuner garages, you will much worry driving those tuned car with big turbos/s'charger kit and massive body kit because of insurance, difficulty to cope with bad road and speed trap and importantly your neighbour would not like you (unless you live on PetrolHead Drive). If this GTS priced only 10-20k, then it is a good deal.
