Brilliant Transport outfits Sprinter vans for comfort and luxury

This is the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter as converted to the Brilliant Van by an American businessman.

Brilliant Transportation was founded just last year to provide luxurious and comfortable transportation to a host of clients. The company now operates along the Eastern seaboard of the United States and in Los Angeles providing luxury transport services.

The inside of the Brilliant Van is outfitted with hardwood floors, large leather seats, refrigerators, stowaway desks for working on and built-in cabinets for storage.

Amenities include two 32-inch flat-screen TVs with satellite Direct TV service, 3G WiFi, color printers and a conference-call system.

The diesel-powered van has a range of up to 400 miles (644 km) and, as company founder and president Richard Fertig says, "a new mode of travel we call 'Private Motoring' that often replaces air and rail transport," allowing passengers to "reclaim dead in-transit time."

Brilliant offers services from New York City with the Sprinter for business trips to Boston or D.C. The company also operates minibus services too.

Clients include not just business or corporate figures but sports and entertainment personalities too and the Sprinter offers plenty of space and head room, where even a basketball player can stand up inside.

apparentely, u r an american, cause u r not familiar with european diesel engines. 50% of sold cars are diesel here. Why u ask? Same horsepower, waaaay lot more couple, waaaay less fuel consumption. What it lacks in pedal to the metal to 100km/h (wich is kinda irelevant for family cars nowadays) makes up in very low fuel consumption and torque. And for a car this big, it should be the only option! The 3 litre V6 diesel has arround 250 hp, wich in ur terms would be a 4 litre V6 hemi gasoline engine with almost 200 hp and an autonomy of 250 miles!

Not sure if it is at all related but there is a family that tailgates here in town for the football games that has a Sprinter decked out in a similar fashion. It looks nearly identical on the outside except for different, more concave, almost Brabus looking rims and beefier (for whatever reason) tires. In person these vehicles have much more of a presence than any photo would let on...
