 Lamborghini future product lineup revealed?

Rumors of an Estoque sedan and convertible

Lamborghini is on the cusp of a major product expansion as a new report is indicating the company will launch several new models in the coming years.

First up, the LP700-4 Aventador has already been unveiled but there is also word that a LP550-2 Spyder will be launched later this year. This seems to make sense as our spy photographers have recently caught the model undergoing testing at the Nürburgring.

In 2012, the company is slated to launch the LP700-4 Spyder and Sesto Elemento. Details are limited, but the latter model is a limited production version of the lightweight concept that debuted at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. As you may recall, the concept weighed just 999 kilograms (2,202 lbs) and featured a naturally-aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine that produced 570 PS (419 kW / 562 hp) which enabled the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds.

For 2013, the Gallardo replacement is set to be unveiled. Possibly called the Cabrera, the car will reportedly ride on a new multi-sectional carbon fiber monocoque chassis and feature the familiar 5.2-liter V10 engine that develops 570 PS (419 kW / 562 hp).

A year later, we can expect the Cabrera Spyder and the highly-anticipated Estoque four-door sedan. As we have previously reported, the Estoque is Lamborghini's answer to expanding their lineup to target people who want something more practical than a two-door supercar.

In 2015, the company will reportedly unleash the LP750 Super Veloce which will weigh 150 kg (331 lbs) less than the standard model and have an output of 750 PS (552 kW / 740 hp). Production is expected to be limited to 350 units and pricing will undoubtedly be eye-watering. Besides the SV, there are rumors that an Estoque convertible concept could be unveiled at an unnamed auto show.

For 2016, the Aventador coupe and spyder will receive a facelift.

To kick off 2017, Lamborghini will introduce the production Estoque convertible and the Cabrera Superleggera.

Even further down the road, there's word of a Cabrera facelift in 2018, a limited edition LP700 Jota for 2019, an Estoque facelift in 2020, and an Aventador replacement in 2021.

We're taking everything with a grain of salt, but the promise of new Lambos is always tantalizing.

Anyone could've guessed this list... But I'm not sure the Estoque would be a 'good' addition for Lambo. Porsche can get away with 4 door 'sportscars' but this would be like putting udders on a raging bull; it may scare you at first but at somepoint you'll wanna laugh!

The Estoque is brilliant! Its by far the best 4 door/4 seater of all the exotics better than the Aston Rapide or Porsche Panamera. Anything is better than Ferrari's horrible FF. The Estoque is a materpiece, its much better than Lambo's LM SUV for example. Would like to see a new LM also added.

Cabrera means 'Goat Herd' in Spanish... and it sounds way too much like Carrera? Surely car makers check these things out these days?

ha, ha, ha, goat herd... I didn't knew what cabrera means in Spanish but it's more than hilarious... it's ridiculous... ha, ha, ha... anyway, I agree with these name similarities: Carrera, Cabrera and then perhaps Chupacabra (still connected to the goats) will follow... :)) And something else: Estoque convertible??? Man, I don't wanna be on the rear seats when the roof is down at high speeds (no matter how much will work the guys from Lamborghini to protect the rear passengers with deflector shields, a.s.o)...

What? No Audi A1 based Lamborghini? Come on, all they need is just a different front and rear LED headlights. Just kidding!

PLEASE EDIT: The LP700-4 Aventador has a 6.5 liter V12 engine with an output of 700 PS (690 bhp / 515 kW) and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque. Not a "5.2-liter V10 engine that produced 570 PS (419 kW / 562 hp)" as is mentioned in paragraph 3.

The mentioned specs are for the Sesto Elemento, not the Aventador.

hey Lambo ! before embarking on any whimsical notion of expanding your product lineup...try rectifying first the inoperative ignition system of your automobiles as to really lend an air of credibility to your tall tale .

Renaissance perhaps you should talk to Audi about that issue. A couple days ago someone lectured me on how Audi saved Lamborghini from extinction and gave them bullet-proof reliability....what a (Audi) joke!

Let's get one thing straight. Without Audi's rescue, Lamborghini won't exist as a major Italian force today. The Estoque needs to be made to put the cat amongst the pigeons in the Coupaloon market! Porsche's Panamera and Aston Martin's Rapide both better watch out!
