GT Evolution by Amari Design based on Bentley Continental GT

Bentley GT Evolution by Amari Design 15.03.2011

Continuing their onslaught of new product announcements, tuning newcomer Amari Design is presenting their third program in six weeks. For a company that was virtually unheard of in the tuning world, they have certainly generated quite a bit of hype without showing a single product. We can only hope they have something tangible to show very soon.

This time around the British supercar dealer turns their design pads towards the Bentley Continental GT. Constructed out of high quality plastic and carbon fiber, the conversion consists of a front bumper, lip spoiler, hood, fenders, side skirts, quarter panel extensions, rear bumper, rear diffuser, rear spoiler and exhaust.

Wheels are Amari Design AD1 - an extreme deep concave three piece forged unit which unfortunately Amari doesn't specify the dimensions. But Amari will tell soon as work is under way on their new forged wheel line. Amari says in a press statement they are, "working away on three new designs in four different concepts from deep concave monoblock and three piece to three piece modular, from carbon fiber faces and lips to body colored pin stripes." When it comes to finishes, "what the client wants is what the client gets."

Under the hood Amari's in-house service arm is planning to give the Conti GT over 750 hp (760 PS / 559 kW) via a hybrid supercharger with an ECU upgrade and exhaust.

The interior receives carbon fiber trimmings on the dash paneling, steering wheel and door grabs. The seats have also been reupholstered in a mix of Napa leather and Alcantara.

Stay tuned as Amari promises to have their first showing at the Amari supercars showroom in Preston from the end of May.

a sutherner? u mean a citizen from the part of ur country that you call "the south", and where people have diffrent tastes and values? well, dear mr goat, youll be shocked that i am not. and ull be even more shocked if ud found out that i am ...a young person (or as they say in ur country "a young lad"). but apart from these details, let's talk about the car. after all, this is an automobiles website. so, on topic: u would be surprised how many people think (like "little old me") that bentleys are not for "playing". it is a grand tourer, it is a rafined car, it is discrete (in some measure). very little tuners have managed to improve on cars like these (one exception is Brabus, or Alpina for bmw). "my peasant" opinion, that u say, to try too keep it to myself, is that this design is trying to hard; it is in ur face, it looks bolted on..it just doesent work (well maybe the wheels).

What a transformation. From what was once a boring looking, dull car has now become the complete opposite with simply the addition of a well designed kit! Gives the car a 'meaner' look without going OTT. Great work Amari. Ps, are those wheels on the market at the minute?
