Anderson Germany has unveiled the new Audi R8 Hyper Black Edition.

Described as a road-going UFO, the HBE features a carbon fiber body kit with a front lip spoiler, an aggressive rear diffuser, and a massive rear wing. Elsewhere, there's tinted windows, smoked tail lights, orange brake calipers, and 19-inch alloy wheels with carbon fiber accents. Last but not least, the car is painted an exclusive color which has unsurprisingly been called Hyper Black.

Inside, the carbon fiber theme continues as the lightweight material is applied to virtually everything including the handbrake, door panels, center console, and steering wheel. Additionally, there are leather seats, Alcantara accents, and numerous orange highlights.

To give the car a little extra oomph, the tuner installed a high-flow air filter, a revised ECU, and a sport exhaust system with remote-controlled sound control valves. Thanks to these modifications, the 5.2-liter V10 engine produces 589 PS (433 kW / 581 hp) - an increase of 64 PS (47 kW / 63 hp).

Once the car reaches a road speed of 100 km/h, the rear spoiler moves automatically as if by magic. This street legal sports car that somehow has a look of UFO - albeit a fantastically beautiful - inspires respect to any Porsche. With 443 inches long, only 125 height and 1620 kg weight, this all-aluminum flounder is practically sticking on the street.

Once again the company ANDERSON Germany from Dusseldorf helps a practically perfect Audi R8 with specific interventions to attract unlimited attention. First, the performance of 5.2 liter engine and 525 hp was increased, that provides now up to 8700 rpm, 589 hp and accordingly grown torque. This power increase was implemented through the Rennkats exhaust system (this alone allows to save 22 kg weight), a software optimization, and air filter modification. Of course, the exhaust path has a remote-controlled valve adjusting system that lets the driver opt from three different levels of noise. So much for the "inner values".

Among external and thus visible changes, it is worth to mention exclusive carbon-coated 19-inch rims painted in body color with edging in Racing Orange style. Through the rim, the brake caliper is visible, of course, painted in Racing Orange as well.
On the other hand, the carbon exterior package should also be mentioned which, apart from the window frames, has "covered" various other parts like the front spoiler lip, rear spoiler for improved downforce, the rear diffuser and the mirror. All windows and rear lights were tinted. Last but not least is the expensive paint finish in black mirror which Anderson worthily called Hyper Black. This paint gives the R8 V10 somewhat a black soul.

The interior finish with matte black carbon fiber leather combined with orange Alcantara holds any comparison. At this point, this so-called carbon interior package includes the handbrake handle, the radio visor, the ashtray, the handles of the seat adjustment, door panels, and the side panels of the center console and shifter surround. And finally, the already first-rate sports steering wheel was additionally enhanced with visible carbon.

Wow, stunning! I think Satan, Darth Vader, and The Terminator have theirs on backorder. Why didnt Audi/VW make this a factory spec model like the AMG Black Series cars. I cant get over how sinister this car looks. Im sitting here with an evil/ devilish grin on my face, and I dont even own it. Im sure this thing will be somewhere around $300k us. So if I was to nitpick, I would ask that anything not black or orange be done over in carbon fiber including the pedals, shifter, gauges, and anything else on the interior not blacked out. Otherwise PERFECT CAR, the way Audi shouldve done it in the first place. I wonder how much better the performance is, now that its a bit lighter with more power.

Rear-view mirror Tormentor. Sinister. Soundtrack should be devastating; exactly what Aventador's isn't!
