New M5 teaser vid - 2012 BMW F10 M5 in a snowy landscape [video]

New video teaser for the upcoming next-generation M5 shows the car in action on a snowy road in Sweden

Here is a second video teaser of the upcoming 2012 BMW F10 M5.

This time we actually get a decent view of the car as it does a slalom in the wintery landscape of Sweden. The next M5 is still wearing camouflage and the production makes sure we don't get too close a still shot of the car but we can certainly enjoy the action.

Dr. Kay Segler, president of BMW M GmbH, posits the M5 as a business vehicle that can be turned into a sports car at the touch of a button. We wonder exactly what he is referring to - but it is likely the Sport setting for the drive function system.

From what we have previously spied on the next-generation M5, we have a pretty good idea of what front fascia will look like with its ventilated fenders.

Under the hood, we're still expecting a twin-turbo 4.4 liter V8 with around 600 PS (441 kW / 592 bhp).

On the inside will be a new instrument cluster and an Alcanatara headliner.

BMW is expected to show an M5 concept at the Shanghai Auto Show next month with the official M5 debuting at the Frankfurt motor show in September.

Wish my BMW 5 drove like that in the snow, I had 184 horse power under the bonnet and 5 man power at the back of the car...............

Id imagine they would edit those bits off where they need manpower to get it moving.

Obviously he is someone who never owned an M5 & compares it to a VW.. The new one sounds nothing like a VW Golf! So please stop confusing the M5 with your golf swifty! Swifty.. LOL

I hate those rims, they look ugly. Those rims are good for a spare tyre.

Wouldn't it have been great if he threw in some inappropriate curse words... "...business car...and when you push the button....it...it goes f*ckin menTAHL....f*ck me guys...it's so very gut...yah...you are a$$hole if you don't like feeling it. Mein friend Lars...he sh*t his pants...all over the car seat...he was feelin it" :-/

This was really a pointless commercial... Just figure out the gear-box issues and put it out on the market!

I don't see that as an issue, maybe it's an issue for some purists. And still BMW haven't said anything what type of gearbox they'll be using in M5. M DKG wouldn't be bad gearbox at all :)
