Mark Webber takes his own Porsche 911 GT2 RS for a spin [video]

Fomula One star Mark Webber takes a few lucky passengers for a thrill ride around the Silverstone track in a 911 GT2 RS

Here's a video of Formula One driver Mark Webber driving the Porsche 911 GT2 RS and giving a few lucky passengers a thrill on the track.

The video was shot at Silverstone where Webber also explains why he's not just driving the 911 GT2 RS but owns one too. The video shows the passengers along for the ride having fun, but why is it that one always looks rather dorky in such situations.

We're not sure what Red Bull Racing's (Webber's F1 team) partners Renault think of all him opting for a Porsche. But they can feel free to invite him to take a run around the track in a Renault Megane RS N4 and post that video online anytime.

Red Bull and Porsche are pretty tight. For all we know RBR is just a very critical customer of Renault's.

I don't think renault would ask Mark Webber to come and drive any renault because if so, it will be a very looser behavior in addition to their looser brand

Why didn't Mark choose a Datsun GTR? This is the best answer to the ones who still have not realize who is Porsche! Congrats Mark, enjoy your new toy, nice pick!!!!

Cuz the GTR has nothing on this beast, even the older gt2 was quicker when Porsche took the GTR for a spin.
