German tuner offers power boosting on both the 3.0 TDI and 3.0 TFSI Audi A7 variants

German tuner Pogea Racing has a performance kit for the Audi A7 it has dubbed the "Seven Sins".

Pogea gets down to it by tinkering with the ECU of the Audi sportback model for a software optimization that draws more power out of both the 3.0 TDI and the 3.0 TFSI engine variants of the A7.

On the 3.0 liter TDI Multitronic with a standard output of 204 PS (201 bhp / 150 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque, Pogea engineers dial those numbers up to 251 PS (248 bhp / 185 kW) and 468 Nm (345 lb-ft).

For the 3.0 TDI S-Tronic the tuner draws 289 PS (285 bhp / 213 kW) and 555 Nm (409 lb-ft) of torque out of the power plant instead of the series' 245 PS (242 bhp / 180 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft).

Power tuning on the supercharged 3.0 TFSI consists of upping horsepower from 300 PS (296 bhp / 221 kW) to 345 PS (340 bhp / 254 kW) while torque gets bumped up from 440 Nm (325 lb-ft) to 495 Nm (365 lb-ft).

The tuner also offers to remove all electronic V-max top-speed limits on the A7.

Prices for engine tuning begin at €1799. Pogea Racing also offers an optional sport air filter and stainless-steel sport exhaust to help boost performance too.

Pogea also fits the A7 with a coilover suspension from KW, MÖZ STROKE 9 x 20-inch black and chrome rims with Continental Sport Contact 3 tires (265/30R20) and a Brembo brake system.

They should have chosen white, silver isn?t the right colour, looks too conservative and they should have chosen 1-piece wheels. other than that i dig it, can`t wait for the S7 etc..

Visually mutilating a brand spanking new body style from Audi is a sin in itself. German prestige machines are highly sensitive to 'tuning abuse'. Themes such as 'discrete' and 'tasteful' are just what the doctor ordered. Even the tuning name is suspect; no cachet at all.
