New photos show FF demonstrating its all-wheel drive prowess on a snowy road

Ferrari has seen fit to release a few images of the upcoming FF model in action ahead of its Geneva debut and demonstrate its all-wheel drive prowess on a snowy road.

One photo is of an advanced prototype while the other is of a production-ready model of the four-seater FF.

The Ferrari FF is poised to replace the flagship 612 Scaglietti at the top of the model range and it comes with an all new chassis featuring an independent suspension with magnetically adjustable dampers and Brembo carbon ceramic brakes. The FF is also Ferrari's first all-wheel drive model. It comes with a heavily rear-biased advanced Ruote Motrici (4RM) four-wheel drive system that can feed torque to the front wheels in an optimized fashion due to the "intelligent predictive torque distribution" technology.

Power comes from a 6.3-liter (6,262 cc) V12 engine with an output of 660 PS (485 kW / 651 hp) and 683 Nm (504 lb-ft) of torque coupled to a double-clutch transmission. The car weighs in at 1790 kg (3946 lb) allowing for a 0-100 km/h sprint time of just 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 335 km/h (208 mph). Combined fuel consumption is 15.4 L/100 km (15.3 mpg US) and CO2 emissions are 360 g/km.

The Ferrari FF is scheduled to make its debut at the Geneva auto show in March.

This car will look good in any photo that does not show its hideous rear end.Do u think it?s a coincidence that Ferrari are not showing photos of the rear end in it's entirety? This Ferrari proves that the look of a car is irrelevant to most consumers. The cars badge & the image/status the badge carries/represents is the most important factor to most consumers.Shameful but true.

@acousticjama I think you're pretty dumb if you haven't seen Ferrari FF pics with rear end. You can start looking at Autocar site. And IMHO, it has a terrific rear end. The only thing that I'm not used to is the side profile which looks like a hot hatch rather than a sleek line coupe. But probably that was Ferrari's idea, I dont know. The next thing is to see it in flesh. But so far so good.

Is this a joke? accousticjama I am pretty sure you are a dumb. The excelent looking part of the car is the back. The front looks just good. I don't like f458 and california but this is different...

This car should not be a Ferrari. I think they should make this as a new Alfa Romeo Brera.

Four seats! Ferrari has done it, yet again! Absolutely love that grill. It's like it's smiling at you.

Maybe Ferrari should offer a camouflage cover for its production FFF in its optional accessory range to cover its ugliness. I would like to think the prototype model looks better than the production car.

Would be nice if they drove it off a cliff next... I'd like to see how it handles that....

kkkl,Where did I say that Ferrari have not shown the rear end of their car? I said that the FF looks good in ANY PHOTO that does not show its rear end. They avoided showing the rear end in these photos because the rear end has been heavily criticized. Maybe you should learn how to read before you accuse others of being stupid. Would not expect anything intelligent to come from a Ferrari fan boy anyway. You have been exposed for the fool that all Ferrari fan boys are.

"Do u think it?s a coincidence that Ferrari are not showing photos of the rear end in it's entirety?" Panamera, X6 were also criticized. I know it is not normal to compare the Ferrari FF to a Panamera and an X6 but what I am trying to say is that a lot of people don't like "different"cars. But they make the market more inovative which is something I like. it is nice not to see always the same cars on the roads. Ferrari doesn't care about people criticizing the end of the car because these people are narrow minded. By the way, I respect your point of view and understand that everybody has a different taste

@accousticjama Oh? Well you tell me how many car manufacturers show more rear end pics than their front-ends? Don't tell me how I should learn because I know you're just plain stupid when making comments. And you and your brain should not worry as I am not a Ferrari fan boy. And how immature a person can be when one feels defensive, he would SIMPLY generalize that person as a fan boy. Please grow up, go back home and rethink about your life. Totally a fool.

Now the Italians are starting to favour a quintessentially English body style, the shooting brake, made famous by the Reliant Scimitar GTE coupe and Jensen Interceptor, first car to have production AWD. However, there are still some questionable design issues with this Ferrari. Rear end anyone?
