Ferrari FF Spider rendered

California dreaming

The Ferrari Four (FF) concept hasn't even graced the stage in Geneva yet, but the Photoshop illuminati have already started tweaking the car's shooting brake design.

Seen here in Spider guise, the rendering bears a strong resemblance to the California but thankfully adopts a cleaner deck lid.

As we have previously reported, the FF features a 6.3-liter (6,262 cc) V12 engine with 660 PS (485 kW / 651 hp) and 683 Nm (504 lb-ft) of torque. It is connected to a double-clutch transmission which enables the 1790 kg (3946 lb) concept to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.7 seconds and hit a top speed 335 km/h (208 mph).

the spider doesent seem to have four seats. for that matter, not even the coupe. all the other carmakers have 4 door supersaloons, why ferrari makes theirs, 2 door and 4 seat?

This is just plain stupid. Rendering a Cabriolet out of Shooting Brake has no sense. No sense at all...

The FF is the prequel of the SUV. The spider one is quite better than the first one.

Ferrari will not build an SUV. They are owned by Fiat, who are making both Alfa Romeo and Maserati SUVs instead, so as not to dilute the brand (well, not any more than the FF has).

i have nothing against a practical AWD Ferrari that i can take to the ski resorts, but it's just too ugly.

Was there any point to this, besides the display of basic Photoshop?

Ladies and gentlemen, the 2013 California. Except with a V12. And AWD. But only if you pay extra for them.
