GMC Sierra HD blasts into Detroit [video]

With a massive grille that matches a large 6.6-liter Duramax engine, General Motors rolled out the GMC Sierra All-Terrain HD Concept in Detroit today.  The truck rides on 35-inch BFGoodrich KM2 tires that surround aluminum 20-inch wheels.  Rounding out the truck's hugeness are impressively large fender flares.

In addition to the grandiose features, the truck is taller and wider than the GMC Sierra.  The Sierra is a bit longer than the new concept.

The Sierra All-Terrain HD's V8 diesel engine pushes out 397 hp (296 kW) and up to 1,037 Nm (765 ft-lb) of torque. Other features include towing capabilities of 13,000 lbs. (5,896 kg), a payload capacity of 2,700 lbs. (1,225 kg), Fox off-road shocks, jounce shocks, a front stabilizer bar with electric disconnection, and automatic locking differentials.

The front grill will bolt directly to a Ford Super Duty, the rear door to a Tundra and the Job Box in the bed to a Dodge and I would not want to hit a rock with the steps.
