An R18 TDI for soccer moms

Large SUVs might have fallen out of favor with consumers, but Anderson Germany has just unveiled a new tuning package for the Audi Q7 V12 TDI.

Dubbed the Family Edition, the crossover features a restrained exterior with carbon fiber accents, gloss black trim and tinted taillights. Furthermore, to give the Q7 an aggressive stance, Anderson installed a suspension lowering module and 22-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the cabin boasts leather / Alcantara upholstery, carbon fiber trim, and LED ambient lighting. Interestingly enough, there's also a matching car seat which ensures your baby will become the envy of the auto club.

Besides the styling tweaks, Anderson outfitted the 6.0-liter V12 TDI with a revised ECU and high-flow air filters. This enables the engine to produce 550 PS (405 kW / 542 hp) - an increase of 50 PS (37 kW / 49 hp).

Wow, V12 SUV. and I thought a V10 Volkswagen Taureg was overkill. There has been a recent craze recently over SUV tuning.

I wonder they haven't mention the torque increase yielded by the tuning package, the standard overkill figure(1000NM+)torque may turn to a smashing unbeatable pulling power ever produced by a street legal SUV....:S
