Classic Japanese cars restored by JDM Legends [video]
JDM Legends imports and restores classic Japanese models such as the 1970 Toyota Celica and the 1970 Datsun 510
Trey Cobb and Eric Bizek want to share their passion for classic Japanese cars.
This video shows several classic Japanese models restored to their former glory by JDM Legends, a company founded just for such a purpose by Cobb, also founder of Cobb Tuning, and Bizek.
Seen here are a restored 1973 Toyota Celica, a 1970 Datsun 510 and a series of Nissan Skyline models. Two of the Skylines are already up for sale.
The Utah-based JDM Legends is a full-fledged service and retail point for classic Japanese models and import, restore, sell and service the cars all under one roof.

Coolest story I've seen in a long time. I'm such a huge fan of old-school Japanese car culture.

Looking at the many pristine classic models on sale in Japan online right now, these don't seem as authentic. Probably because they aren't. Still, one day we'll all want a Datsun in our fantasy garage!

A Nissan Red Stage dealer a few minutes walk from my place here has a 4 door GTR in the lobby, not for sale though. I prefer a KenMary, but its still a badass car.

Hauntingly retrospective score adds a sense of longing for an era long forgotten, but highly treasured! Iconic Japanese auto legends meticulously restored by JDM Legends. No rocket science needed as to why Japanese car firms have huge corporate confidence today to match any sports car maker from the 'Usual Suspects' in Europe! Humble origins to current cult status. Laugh at the Korean car firms at your embarrassment!

This got my heart pumping and beating..... awwwwwwww.. bring back some great memories.... If they go on sale i would love to buy one of those.... They are sooooooo awesome... BTW that song is awesome... Most ppl who knocking this report doesnt really understand old school japanese culture and their cars... Its all good cause everyone has their own opinion but need to know some facts before targeting the report and video.

From what I've heard, most older Japanese cars from this generation were considered nothing more than budget friendly cars that were thrown to the side, ignored, mistreated, and eventually recycled. No one probably gave it much thought that they'd one day be considered "classic cars". Fully restored, these cars look surprisingly beautiful, even cute, in person and definitely stand out from the crowd, due in part to there very compact design and low profile.
