Design study Concept CS imagines a new Mitsubishi Colt

Here's a design study by Gabor Farkas called the Mitsubishi Concept CS.

Farkas imagines what a Mitsubishi Colt successor would look like and does an excellent job of rendering both a realistic and pleasant design as well as some high quality images and video published here.

The goal of the design was to "summon the spirit of the ancestors," according to Farkas. The car's design is a progression of the Colt CA (1992-1996) along with influences from the Mitsubishi C50 (1988-1992) updated to include Mitsubishi's current jet-fighter design paradigm.

The design study also takes us inside the Concept CS with an interior look similar to the Outlander Sport/ASX/RVR.

Compliments to Farkas and we thank him for this exclusive contribution.

Wow... great looking car and really a Honda CRZ competitor. Minds me about the CJ model more than CA. Last couple of Colt models have been horrible but hopefully Mitsubishi is going back to lower and sportier body styles. And definetly they have to do some cyborg or ralliart version of this!!!

i love the side. Quite better than the A1 (or just a copy of it). For the back: humm. For the front: hum hum.

From a nondescript grille, Audi ransacked their history parts bin and found a 1930's Auto Union 'single trapezoidal frame unit' corporate face and virtually all other car firms are jumping on the bandwagon including Mitsubishi! However, provided this Colt Concept STAYS like this, the Evo series will have a junior rocket with the best interior and tech yet seen in a Mitsubishi! Unnervingly silent video adds kudos to this Conceptual statement. Needs 200bhp+ to be highly credible Renaultsport Clio rival. Why not name it Colt Cyborg? Nice!!

I like it but that rear is too wide, too high, and too flat

This is going to be way better than the CR-Z. It looks great, and it's engine will probably be a bit more powerful
