2012 Hyundai Veloster teased again
Unique four-door arrangement
The North American International Auto Show starts on Monday and Hyundai has decided to tease the Veloster one last time.
While the lighting hides the sheet metal, we can clearly see the car will feature a unique four-door arrangement with a rear hatch and three forward-hinged doors (one on the driver's side).
Under the hood, power will likely be provided by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with 122 PS (90 kW / 121 hp) and 155 Nm (114 lb-ft) of torque. It will be connected to a dual-clutch transmission that enables the Veloster to deliver an estimated 40 mpg highway.

I wonder if RHD vehicles will have the rear door on the other side, or if we will have to get out into traffic like with the MINI Clubman.....

The body shape/outline looks good. However, I am more interested in the aesthetics. What will it bring? This, I shall reserve my comments until its official release.

The door arrangement makes the extra door useless for RHD cars, sigh.
