Ferrari P4/5 Competizione progress update [video]
Will compete in the 24 Hours of Nurburgring
The Lancia Stratos revival might have stolen the spotlight, but work continues on Jim Glickenhaus' Ferrari P4/5 Competizione.
Seen here in the build process, the one-off racecar is a carbon fiber masterpiece that echoes the Pininfarina-designed P4/5. Details are limited, but the Competizione is based on the F430 Scuderia and uses the same engine and suspension as the Ferrari F430 GT2 ALMS.
If everything goes according to plan, the car will compete in the 24 Hours of Nürburgring in June 2011.
