Mercedes spills C-Class Coupe details via Twitter contest

Mercedes has been pretty quiet about the 2012 C-Class Coupe, but the company has quietly revealed new information about the highly anticipated model.

As part of a Twitter contest, which is being heavily promoted on Facebook, Mercedes will give four people a C-Class Coupe to drive to the Super Bowl. The individual (and co-pilot) who tweets the most will end up winning the car.

While that's pretty standard stuff, the interesting information is buried deep inside the contest rules. The winner will receive a C250 Coupe which features a 201 hp (204 PS / 150kW) four-cylinder engine that is not currently available in the America. Furthermore, the car will be awarded when the C-Class Coupe goes on sale in October 2011.

The C-Class Coupe will likely be unveiled at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, so stay tuned for continuing coverage.
