Ferrari 458 Challenge on the track [video]

From Maranello with love

Following the public unveiling of the 458 Challenge, Ferrari has released a new video showing the car in action.

As we have previously reported, the Challenge is powered by a 4499cc V8 engine with 570 PS (562 hp / 419 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque. Detailed performance figures haven't been released, but Ferrari says the car can lap the Fiorano circuit in 1 minute, 16.5 seconds.

To ensure the car is up to snuff, engineers installed a modified suspension, an improved dual-clutch gearbox, an advanced traction control system (with settings for wet and dry conditions), Brembo CCM2 brakes, and 19-inch light alloy wheels with Pirelli P-Zero tires.
