2014 Audi RS6 rendered [videos]

Following the unveiling of the 2012 Audi A6, Photoshop illuminati have been busy dreaming up future high-performance variants.

This particular rendering, from EDL Design, shows what a possible RS6 would look like. It features all the usual RS tweaks (an aggressive front fascia, honey comb grille inserts, and massive wheels) and looks rather fetching - especially in blue.

While the RS6 is still several years off, previously reports have suggested it could use a 572 hp (427 kW / 580 PS) 5.0-liter TFSI V10 or a 580 hp (433 kW / 588 PS) 5.2-liter V10. If that sounds like overkill, the S6 is expected to adopt the RS5's 4.2-liter V8 with 444 hp (331 kW / 450 PS) and 430 Nm (317 lb-ft) of torque.
