BMW Unscripted: Vision ED Concept [video]

Next video in the series from BMW TV shows an engineer at work on the Vision EfficientDynamics Concept

Here's the latest video in the BMW Uncripted series from BMW TV.

This one features BMW engineer Juergen Greil, talking about his work on the Vision EfficientDynamics Concept which the Bavarian automaker will be taking to production in 2013.

Listen to Greil speak passionately about his work. It's nice to see there are some people who like their jobs. And he makes the usual green-talk sound very authentic.

"There are some truly amazing moments along the way. Like when the car is started for the first time or when it takes its first spin on the test track," says Greil in the video.

Then you can see the Vision Concept take to the road with Greil and a his fellow engineers running tests on the car.

This is a smart series from BMW from a marketing standpoint. But it's also entertaining for the BMW enthusiast too.

It's definitely gonna be a lot more toned down for production, but nonetheless a great concept and ideation. Bring it

well few bits like the floating rear lights and other panels dont look too practical, safe. if they find a way to come around that it should be great. ill take mine in black.

"once the vehicle like this is completed, you slowly start to say goodbye" - does that mean that they are on the end of the long way of testing and improving? btw: I just love the design..I ve seen it on motorshow and it was astonishingly beautiful

It could do with wider tyres; those look way too thin.
