German tuner provides a body kit for the Continental GT Speed limited to only 150 units

German tuner Anderson has a tuning package for the Bentley Continental GT Speed called the Elegance edition to provide a little more flavor to the luxury coupe.

The Dusseldorf-based tuner starts with a body kit for the GT Speed that includes a carbon fiber bonnet with air intakes and a deck lid. There's also a front apron, side skirts, a rear skirt and a set of LED daytime running lights.

The body kit is limited in availability to only 150 pieces, just to keep all things Bentley-related exclusive.

For the engine tuning, Anderson dials up power to 695 PS (511 kW / 685 bhp), from the series 610 PS (449 kW / 601 bhp), as well as promising more torque by means of an ECU remapping, a modified air filter and exhaust system changes that also shave 17 kg off of the curb weight of the car.

Subtle additions for the interior include carbon décor strips and carbon fiber trim for the front and rear consoles and interior light fixtures. The passenger seats get a black leather finish with white logo stitching.

Bentley Continental lost its exclusiveness long time ago, every rich man has it :( I would never buy Bentley if I were rich, it is too popular... but I have to admit that it looks gorgeous.

...you put a large cigarette (a fag, for those across the pond) in it, and it makes you look even COOLER!

Ever the optimist eh?! No faith in British engineering then? That engine is more solid than a slab of granit. It can take that level of tweaking easy. Like the car too looks evil! Although i expect on the road that "speed hole" will have vegetation, wildlife and a school boys pair of shoes stuck in it because the engines acting like a giant hoover.

The W12 engine in this car is a Volkswagen engine, not Bentley. The transmisson is an Audi transmisson. So therefore it is German engineering.

Actually, the transmission is not Audi, but ZF (also German). The all wheel drive system, however, is Audi.

Reminds me of a special the Italian importer for Bentley did on the 90s Bentley Continental T (I think) which was stripped to a race feel and two of the headlights removed for "speed holes". Looked great. I'd love to see a hardcore Bentley like that again.

Well it looks normall, just some LEDs and a few more things (apart from engine of course). But could somebody explain me please what is exactly a "speed hole"?

its a fresh air duct for the engine's intake. It ensures cooler air as opposed to sucking up air from within the -usually very hot- engine compartment. It's normally placed a lot higher though, like just below the headlights, to avoid sucking up undue debris.

Thanks droid dtm! Interesting why they didn't put it behind the grill, because, frankly it doesn't look nice.

Looks good IMO, but that hole in the middle looks goofy.

This conversation about "speed holes" and fresh air ducts is so ridiculous. You call yourselves car enthusiasts? The "'hole" in the grill is not a hole rather the lens for the Active Cruise Control sensor. Maybe its best not to comment on something for which you know nothing about?
