Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG with Akrapovic exhaust sound [video]

Having had a C63 when they first came out, I found that the standard exhaust had a very nice, aggressive sound. It was actually on the verge of being too loud at times! Akrapovic makes wonderful quality products and his efforts provide work for Slovenians and an excellent image abroad. Well Done! However, as to the RENNtech "tuning" it is very doubtful that this horsepower can be reached on the standard AMG motor without very deep modifications which would adversely affect service life. I know this intimately, but will not disclose why I know this...Next, the visioning of the "performance" is grotesque. Smoking tires? To what end? A recent Youtube video shows a new Nissan GTR doing a 0 to 100 K/mH in 3.0 seconds in Japan, without any fanfare, screaming engine, nor a whiff of tire smoke. Furthermore, the view from inside is boring, this is supposed to be exciting? Sport driving? These "tuners" need to perhaps apply some "tuning" to their small brains in order to comprehend what true performance really IS.
