2011 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible revealed on Facebook
On sale in February
Chevrolet has unveiled the 2011 Camaro Convertible on Facebook, ahead of its official debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
While there isn't much to report, since we've already seen the Neiman Marcus Camaro Convertible, the drop top will go on sale in February with a base price of $30,000 (including an $850 destination charge).
Like the coupe, engine options include a 312 hp (233 kW / 316 PS) 3.6-liter V6 and a 426 hp (318 kW / 432 PS) 6.2-liter V8. They will be paired to a six-speed manual, but a six-speed automatic will be optional.
Additional details will be announced later this month, so stay tuned.

Finally! After so many time different coach builders making a convertible version of the Camaro, Chevrolet dicided to put the "oficial" version. Nice

Nice job chevy. Although I do say that 312 Hp in a heavy Convertible will lead to sluggish acceleration. But anyways I think the convertible version should be saved for a Sunday drive on the freeway, and the hardtop be for the track.

How come Domestics do not seem to worry about roll bar protection. That is a liability issue?
