BMW M6 turns into the G-POWER M6 Hurricane RR

German tuner provides M6 with 800 PS (588 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque

The G-Power M6 Hurricane RR picks up where the German tuner left off earlier this year with the M5 Hurricane RR.

The two models feature an identically tuned power plant - a twin-supercharged V10 dialed up to 800 PS (588 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque.

With this engine configuration, G-Power claims the M6 Hurricane RR as the "world's fastest 4-seat coupe." Similar to how the M5 Hurricane RR was labeled the fastest sedan on the planet. Given the amount of raw power on tap here, it's fair to market the model as such.

The acceleration numbers are impressive enough considering this M6 weighs in at just under 2,000 kg - 0 to 100 km/h in 4.35 seconds, to 200 km/h in 9.5 seconds and the 300 km/h mark is hit in 24.9 seconds.

The M6 Hurricane RR comes fitted with 20-inch G-Power Silverstone Clubsport forged wheels, 9 x 20 for the front and 10 x 20 at the back, wrapped in 255/35ZR20 and 285/30ZR20 performance tires, respectively.

Prices for the G-Power M6 Hurricane RR, including the standard BMW M6 car, start at €252,100.

Wooowwwww...what a beauty... I keep falling in love with this car over and over again... In my opinion, the only worthy rival for this car is the Merc CL 65 AMG or the CL Brabus version... I would love to see them both go Head to Head in Fifth Gear...

Not even close to the CL, different class. Maybe closer to the E-Coupe or the old CLK. The CL 65 is a super GT, its almost $300k more in comp with the continental than the M6.

Crazy. While I welcome more power, I'd really fancy decent weight reduction along with the upgraded grunt. Then again, this is probably meant to be a supersonic cruise missile.

Yes, but the speed is limited. The unlimited M5 RR runs 372 km/h as measured by GPS. The M6 RR will reach the same speed, no doubt.
