Akrapovic shows off its exhaust sound for the Ferrari 458 Italia [video]

Slovenian tuner Akrapovic Exhaust Systems Technology has a new sound for the Ferrari 458 Italia and they want you to hear it.

In this video you can see the Ferrari 458 Italia out for a little sprint in the fresh air with its distinct triple-piped, center-mounted exhaust. This time, though, it's fitted with a new system from exhaust specialists Akrapovic and true Ferrari connoisseurs can try to spot the differences in the sound.

The new sport exhaust system helps the 458 Italia achieve an increase of 11 PS (8 kW) and 26 Nm of torque (19 lb-ft) over the standard exhaust all the while subtracting 14 kg from the curb-weight of the 458 due to its titanium construction.

Akropovic specializes in titanium exhaust systems for both cars and motorbikes and supplies sport exhaust equipment to several major automotive tuning houses.
