Aston Martin DBS facelift spied at N?rburgring
Prototype features new front bumper, more air intakes at the front, new rear bumper and a larger rear diffuser
These are the latest spy shots of the upcoming facelifted 2012 Aston Martin DBS taken on the Nürburgring as automakers finish off the testing season there.
This prototype is sporting a completely new front bumper and more air intakes at the front too. A new rear bumper is also present and the rear diffuser looks larger than on the current model.
Under the bonnet we can only assume is the same 6.0 liter V12 engine of the current DBS - good for a total of 517 PS (380 kW/510 bhp) and 570 Nm (420 lb-ft) of torque.
We can expected the new Aston Martin DBS to debut sometime in 2011.

There must be hp hike in this facelift version. Otherwise, what's the point? However, it's an AM DBS so no shortage of interest especially since Rick Ross just released his world premiere music video, Aston Martin Music!

DBS was beautiful , is beautiful and will be.But from the begining it was a bit weak , still is weak and it will be.Aston Should increase power to 600Hp at least

Judging by Aston facelifts this will just have very slightly different wing mirrors....and the price will increase by about 10 grand for the privilege. I agree with Hero Sina...the DBS needs 600 BHP, the AM V8 4.7 needs 450 bhp and the DB9 needs 510 bhp. I think the DB9 is beginning to look very outdated now so a total redesign will be due.

I really don't think Aston Martin has the money to develop a new car, at least a new engine. Or the market is not strong for that. But the V8 Vantage is still one of the best looking car for me.

The new front bumper looks more angular and aggresive. Keep it up Aston!

...agreed about the money but we have a simpler answer that most other automakers including BMW & MB have adopted...add 2 turbo chargers to the engine...problem solved...they can dial up whatever horsepower they like...even 650+

the lower part of the front bumper looks horrible, so not Astons style. please dont change a good thing. some people just do not know when to stop.

I'm sure this is going to look much different than the 2011, which was way different from the 2010 which differed greatly from the 2009...... AM needs to do something. they charge nearlt $300k for a car that isn't that fast and looks the same every year. They need a new model or something. In pictures, especially from the front, I often can differentiate one car from another.

the current strategy in product planning is not good in Aston Martin. the entire line is aging quick, and as others pointed out, the competition is fierce in this segment. your 2-3 year old DBS will not cut it. (eh, DB9...) any updates should not only be cosmetic.

They really dont have to cover it up as Astons have been looking the same for 10 years!
