On sale next year

Spy photographers have managed to catch several new images of the 2012 Chevrolet Aveo sedan.

While the company has already unveiled the hatchback at the Paris Motor Show, this is the first time we've seen the sedan since several images were accidently leaked in February. Overall, the car looks relatively attractive but we're still partial to the hatch and its nicer proportions.

Under the hood, power will be provided by a variety of four-cylinder engines. Petrol options include a 1.2-liter with 70 hp (52 kW / 71 PS) to 86 hp (64 kW / 87 PS), a 1.4-liter with 100 hp (75 kW / 101 PS), and a 1.6- liter that cranks out 115 hp (86 kW / 117 PS). On the other hand, diesel fans get a 1.3-liter rated at 75 hp (56 kW / 76 PS) and 95 hp (71 kW / 96 PS). Transmission choices include five- and six-speed manuals as well as an optional six-speed automatic on the 1.4- and 1.6-liter petrol.

The car will be unveiled early next year, possibility at the North American International Auto Show, so stay tuned for continuing coverage.

whith these graphics it's more possible for someone to spot it ! If it was totally undisguised , probably nobody would notice it's a new car.

Exactly, it already looks dated compared to its competitors. Kinda like half cooked car

I think it actually looks good, compared with some of it's competition. The roof and trunk flow nicely, unlike the Fiesta (with it's blobby dudonkadonk) and the Versa (whose trunk looks tacked on). Not saying the Fiesta isn't miles ahead from an engineering standpoint, or that the 5/3 door Fiesta doesn't look better than the Aveo hatch though.

This is news? C'mon this is World Car Fans, not I wouldn't drive this car to save the lives of 100 Starving Children Fans. I declare that the Aveo Is not a car and is a... desk for lack of better ideas. Tsugi!!!

Not bad. Brutal design is much more interesting than glamorous or sport-looking

Well, I'm thinking what to say about this but nothing comes to my mind. That's the best description of this car. Rear lamps very similar to current model, where's the cover? And that would be all... ;)

I think Chevrolet just wants to fit in with the rest, and put some camouflage on lol.
