2011 Chevy Camaro will debut at the Los Angeles auto show next month

Last week we spied the Chevy Camaro Z28 doing some track testing on the Nürburgring.

Now we have the latest spy shots of a completely undisguised standard Camaro prototype featuring updates for the 2011 model year. These pictures appear to be taken at the Nürburgring circuit but the Chevy is still wearing its roots on its sleeve - sporting a Michigan license plate.

New are changes to the front and rear bumpers, the LED taillights, and turn indicators on the side mirrors.

Chevy has previously announced that the 2011 Camaro will make its debut at the Los Angeles auto show next month.

The Camaro will come available with a 312 bhp (233 kW/ 316 PS) 3.6-liter V6 and a 426 bhp (318 kW / 432 PS) 6.2-liter V8 fitted to either a six-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic.

Prices will start at $30,000.

Personally I prefer the taillights of the 2010. Now as for the front bumper, what exactly has changed, still looks the same compared to the 2010.

Agree, don't see any changes in the front. Hopefully there are improvements in the interior.

I could live with the taillights, but those side mirrors are so big.

This is probably an update so that the Camaro can appeal to European customers. I can understand why they added LED tailights, but what's the deal with the huge side mirrors? Looks like they were recycled from Hummers.

Idk if anyone has been in the 2010 camaro but its hard to see out of the windows all around. I can understand a larger different shaped mirror, may help with lane changing.

it could be an euro version, cause it has turn signals in the outside mirrors... http://www.americar.de/news/news_artikel/facelift_oder_europa-version__erlkoenig_des_2011er_chevrolet_camaro_/id=1540
