I like it! Especially how they kept the original Quattro design. The interior is plain, and i like that too, except that mud brown color.

i love it, esp. the overall old school look and old scool rear lights.

How is this based on the RS5 if it has a 2.5 liter 5 cylinder engine. At least use the V8.

The body is based on the RS5. The original Audi quattro Coupe used a 2.2L inline 5 so I would imagine that's why they chose the 2.5 I5 over the V8.

I see, that makes sense. About the body I don't understand what particularly makes it based on the RS5, would it not have been more suiting to say A5? And if I'm not mistaken there was at least one article in the past that stated Audi was making a special edition S5 that would serve as a homage to the original Quattro, would this be it..

When they say it's based on the RS5 it means that they've taken the RS5 design and then modified it to make this car. And what that means is that under the new look body panels it is basically a shortened RS5 with a different engine.

I thought the original was ugly, and I think this one is still ugly. Imo the problem is that Audi is trying to make a square box of a car look round... and in doing so they have blurred its shape and ruined the aesthetics of having a car with clean lines... that and that front bumper looks like it was designed to be put in need for speed on a lancer or gtr.

"Imo the problem is that Audi is trying to make a square box of a car look round"
The most primitive form of any modern car is a square box on four wheels.

Am I the only one who sees some Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X and other recent Mitsubishi models in the front?

Audi came with these design lines LOOONG TIIME ago. I like it. Rear end interpretation very well done!!!

Clean retro design a nice interpretation of the classic Quattro.Keep the price about $70,000 fully loaded and i would buy one.

that car is absolutely gorgeous, if they keep it looking like that for production I'd do just about anything to get my hands on one.

No thanks. No Audi in that design. The R8 is spot on. This looks like a Evo X, WRX STI, random rice rocket train wreck.

it is time that Audi starts rallying again and with this thing plz!

Finally! An Audi with a spirit! It's been a while since I wanted an Audi...and this is it! I'll take mine with a two-tone black and charcoal Grey color scheme please. Highlighting the fender flares and a set of graphite rims with red racing strip around the tires like a classic Hot Wheels toy racer! Awesome!

I have to agree with you...this one I am excited about...Put one OZ Racing wheels with the disks on them while you're at it.

Styling is extraordinary. I guess some tuners will be pleased to rise the power beyond 500 BHP and perhaps it may reach the --100 in less than 3 sec. Great

Can you percieve some similarities to Audi B4 Coupe?
Beautiful car, I think that production version wouldn't be very different. Good.

Nice! Besides that it looks like the original Quattro, it also reminds me of the original ?ber-cool Lancia Delta Integrale...Audi's big rival in rally back in the day.

So this is the new R4 spy car under camo & it out to be the new audi quattro. Well done & it looks stunning, superb.

Jeez, HOW much more Body Height from Road to top of Hood, Cars are getting thicker and heavier looking all the time, low swooping fronts are a design thing of the past..HOW MUCH MORE UGLIER ARE CARS GOING TO GET??

The more I look at it the more I like it; it must be quite something in the flesh I'd say.
