Aston Martin Vantage N420 Roadster first photos released

Aston Martin first showed off their lightweight Vantage N420 coupe special edition back in July and now have announced the roadster version.

As the name implies, the same 4.7-liter engine producing 420-horsepower (313 kW / 426 PS) hits a 0-60 mph time in around 4.5 seconds. 

With a reduced weight of 27 kg thanks to the use of carbon fiber, exclusive features include a rear diffuser, side strakes, front splitter and seats.  Other features include wide side sills, black mesh vents and 10-spoke glossy black alloy wheels.

The interior is fitted with an Iridium package, with contrast-stitched upholstery, a choice between an Alcantara or leather wheel, and graphite instrumentation.

Underneath, the suspension has been upgraded to the Sports Pack as standard which includes revised springs dampers and anti-roll bars, and a new sports exhaust system with "Graphitic" tailpipe finishers has been added as well.

Deliveries of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage N420 coupe already began in August so the roadster should be available soon if not right away.  Pricing should be slightly higher than the £96,995 of the coupe.
