Audi S7 spied completely undisguised

 Audi S7 spied completely undisguised

With about a week to go before it is officially unveiled, spies outside the Nürburgring caught several high quality photos of an undisguised Audi S7.  The car features the familiar front fascia of the company's S-series of vehicles, and shows a few details of the development of the company's design language.

Sitting above a front splitter, the foglights ringed in chrome, split with aerodynamic elements and surrounded by blacked-out mesh.  The headlights and grille are pretty much the same as those on the A7.

The S7 is sitting on five double-spoke alloy wheels covering up very large brake discs.  The rotors are clearly larger in the front than the rear, but calipers do not appear to be as big as expected.  In back the car features a quad exhaust, with two tailpipe tips set under each taillight and separated by a chrome line.

The car will get its debut at the Paris Motor Show at the end of the month.

I agree. It?s hard to believe that the car manufacturer that gave us a design as exciting as the R8 is also responsible for designing the world?s most boring looking sedans.

The current Quattro system, with most of the power, when set to the rear wheels, will look like that when accelerating, and at the Ring, they would likely prefer to effectively have a rear-wheel drive car, as they tend to lap faster - 50/50 AWD would understeer 2 much. OR thats my opinion

Ignoring the strange angle of the suspension; the lines of the vehicle itself are disappointing.

Yeah, the front-end is the S-line bodykit. So the S7 would get a different front end from this test car.

No fireworks this time, or maybe as usual. At first sight I thought that it's just S-line. Anyway I'll wait with final opinion till it's oficcialy presented.

What in the world is wrong with Audi. I will NEVER again buy another Audi until they make something that does not look like a botched carbon copy of the original A/S5.

I think it's rather beautiful and I applaud Audi for the overall design. Although I think this is an S7 in S-Line trim.

Looks great, more elegant resolved than the vulgar in-your-face CLS. And the back looks like nothing much else on the road. Kudos for Audi.
