2011 BMW 1-Series M Coupe rendered
Will be unveiled in December
While BMW is slowing teasing the 1-Series M Coupe, 1addicts user Alpine325ci decided he couldn't wait any longer.
The "resident photoshopper extraordinaire" has created these beautiful renderings of the newest M car with painstaking attention to detail. Based on the aforementioned teaser images, the renderings are a fairly accurate representation of what to expect when BMW unveils the model in December.
As we have previously reported, the 1-Series M Coupe will likely be powered by a twin-turbo N54 inline-six with at least 350 PS (257 kW / 345 bhp). It will be connected exclusively to a six-speed manual transmission which should allow the car to accelerate from 0-60 mph in approximately 4.5 seconds.

no they won't. what they referred to before was that it would be quick as e46 m3. however all the newbies that get this and think they can outrun e46 m3s, will be a dream. right now the e46 m3 owners are getting prepared under the hood lol.

@E36Mmm
This thing will outrun the e46 m3, I guarantee it. A 135/335I already give the e46 m3 a really hard time with all their torque...from personal experiences.
This thing will be really close to the e9x m3 territory and it is most likely to make even more power then this article states.
BTW, I drive an e36m and have dealt with many e46m's
HPF stage 4 e46 m3, game over to the world lol.

Looking forward to this car. Wonder what a white one would look like with white OZ racing alloys and M-Sport livery.

The M1 shouldn`t be faster than the M3.
Make it fast, but not that fast.

Won't be faster than an M3, will be fast as shit on the street. Will eat front tires on the track and will warp the front rotors, M brakes suck. I bet they will do a lesser diff. to limit its performance against M3. Its a shame they don't make an entry level track car with this. You never even see an Z4M's on the track.

1 series M vs TT-RS. That's gonna be an epic battle. Like a modern E30 M3 vs an Audi Quattro.

M & RS are the same by designing one bumper and share them with all their cars with different sizes

I hope it weighs significantly less. Like about 300lbs less. The 135i is a pork.

An extra 80hp is avaible for a thousand bucks for the 135i. I hope they put together a smart package.

Looks like a 1 with downs syndrome.Another ugly, overpriced POS for the BMW fanboys.

It won't be a TT-RS killer because this car is way better than TT. They may have been close with power, but only thing in a TT which is good is the engine. (I really like Audi, but not all of them:)
