Female Stig with Pink overalls - Clarkson will love that one

In the wonderful world of gambling, nothing is off limits. Considering this, it's not too surprising U.K. bookies have started taking action on whether or not the new Stig will be a woman.

Betting giant William Hill has placed the odds at 4/1 for a female Stig, 4/1 for Anthony Davidson, 9/2 for Damon Hill or Russ Swift, 5/1 for David Coultard, 7/1 for Mark Webber, 10/1 for Nigel Mansell, 66/1 for Lewis Hamilton or Jenson Button, and a 100/1 for Michael Schumacher.

As a company spokesman told The Sun, "We have had several calls this morning from punters looking to bet on the next Stig being female and we cannot image that Jeremy Clarkson will be amused."

Besides taking bets on who the Stig will be, William Hill is also accepting action on the color of the Stig's suit (pink is 5/1) and whether or not Ben Collins' autobiography will be the top-selling Christmas book (12/1).
