2012 Toyota Yaris prototype already on the road
Hybrid variant expected
Spy photographers have managed to catch the first images of the 2012 Toyota Yaris.
Undergoing testing in Germany, the five-door hatchback features a slimmer C-pillar, a sportier greenhouse, a recessed tailgate, and a Verso-S front end. Inside, the cockpit boasts a revised steering wheel and possibly - mercifully - an instrument cluster that is actually in front of the driver.
Under the hood, power will likely be provided by the usual assortment of three- and four-cylinder engines. Eventually, a hybrid will be available.

If the front looks like the Verso-S, then Toyota would have gone backwards in terms of design.

Main problem was - it was such a horrid thing to drive - I drove a 2006 TSpirit. hope this new one is better.
