Jaguar to preview 2012 XK with Paris concept
Could use a hybrid powertrain
According to a recent report, Jaguar will use the Paris Motor Show to introduce a new concept which previews the 2012 XK.
While details are limited, the car is expected to adopt an evolution of Jaguar's new design language (from the XF / XJ). It will be larger than the current XK, which signals the intention to turn the 2012 model into a legitimate four-seater. More importantly, by making the car larger, they are creating room for the long-rumored XE coupe / roadster.
Under the hood, the concept will likely boast a hybrid powertrain.
More information will be released later this month, so stay tuned to WCF for continuing coverage.

2012 is so soon!!! What's wrong with current XK. I think they should easily produce it for next 5 years. Hope the new one will be as exciting as current, despite making it larger!!! I think they want to make it to offer as much space as Granturismo or Mercedes CL. Probably Jaguar is going to offer sth smaller to compete with Cayman(aka Cockster). And finally knowing recent rumours about TATA Motors production strategy I'm really worry about the place and country, where the next XK-Generation, as well as other Jag models and Land Rover will be produce-((((
