2012 Mercedes Benz SL 63 AMG spied
Improved, inside and out
Our covert operatives have managed to catch several new images of the 2012 (or 2013) Mercedes SL 63 AMG.
Spied near the Nürburgring, the heavily camouflaged prototype features a long bonnet, AMG wheels, cross-drilled brakes, and a folding metal roof. Inside, the interior will sport a redesigned steering wheel, an SLS-inspired center console, and an improved COMAND system.
Like the 2011 S 63 AMG, power will be provided by a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 with 544 PS (400 kW / 536 hp) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. If that doesn't suit your need for speed, the company will offer an AMG Performance Package which will enable the engine to churn out 571 PS (420 kW / 563 hp) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft).

That thing has way too much makeup to distinguish anything.

This new 4.4L TT engine looks impressive but I haven?t liked anything Merc has designed in the past few years so I am not expecting much front this car either.I was a huge fan of Merc?s 4 round headlights design.

Ihave an AMG SL 63, one thing I notice right away only two exhaust pipes, not four, wonder why? and like most of the above agree way to much camo to really tell anything for sure. But Iam sure its all good.
