When they say gas-engine 500hp/electric 50hp, does that equate to 550hp performance?

Not interested in another 2.5 tonne SUV that gives 5-10 mpg when given the stick.. get a MX-5 instead.. save money, fuel and the egg shells that you will receive if you drive something similar..

There already has been a Toureg R50, V10 diesel with 345 bhp and 627 ft-lbf. Isn?t that enough?
