Power and beauty

Our spy photographers have managed to get another glimpse of the Mercedes CLS 63 AMG at the Nurburgring.

While heavily camouflaged, we can clearly see an aggressive front fascia, LED daytime running lights, AMG wheels, cross-drilled brakes, a trunk-mounted spoiler, and a four-tailpipe exhaust system.

Under the hood, power will be provided by a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V8 with 544 PS (400 kW/ 536 hp) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. Backed up by a 7-speed Speedshift MCT transmission, the CLS 63 AMG should be able to accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than 4.3 seconds. If that isn't fast enough, Mercedes will likely offer an AMG Performance Package which will increase the engine's output to 571 PS (420 kW / 563 hp).

Considering the new CLS-Class will debut at the Paris Motor Show, we wouldn't be surprised if the AMG variant is unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2011.
