Another major and amazing change si the new 2WD mode that allows the GT-R to finally be driven in full RWD!

NAGTROC are saying that there'll be a 2WD only mode that's activated when you hold down one of the 3 dirvetrain switches (where Snow mode used to be) for 4 seconds. Apparently it's also got a new internal code due to some chassis tweaks. It's gone from CBA-R35 to DBA-R35. 10% improvement from a rear diffuser alone! That's incredible! What's the new laptime around you know where going to be?!

Still the same GT-R I know and love. Thank God they haven't fiddled about with it much.

Good move by Nissan, good for older version users. Subtle design changes are great, I always hate big facelifts after car exists like less than 3 years on a market.

Except that it's been out in Japan longer than 3 years. I wished there was a little less "subtlety" and a little more change. That said, smart looking car as it already is.

The gearbox & breaks need improvements, not body work.

The extra bumper swipe with DRLs don't look great, but I'm sure they're there for a purpose. The wheels are a bit busy, but the new blue looks good on it. Like Bay Side Blue, but more upmarket-looking.

Wait until all the specs come out, the base gt-r will have 520ps at 1710kg, even the new wheels are 3kgs lighter, the chassis has also been worked and the transmission and apparently it will have rear wheel drive option, Nissan claim its set a new benchmark above the last gt-r. should be good to say the least.

Also all the body work takes the already low .27 cd down to .26. There is so many changes to this model that nissan had to change the chassis name.
