Come on guys.. the Jaguar XFR also did something similar a few months ago.. lets appreciate the fact that in this day and age atleast a few car companies are still doing this stuff instead of producing stupid hybrids that cause more harm than good to the environment..

I agree, how can anybody who considers themselves a car person come on this site and talk trash on this. This is pure hot-rodding at it's finest. This is what our grandfathers did except they had way more cool cars than a Suzuki. Before there where 0-60 times, 1/4 mile times, and lateral G measurements it was all about how fast a car could go. Not how quick, how fast.

guys u have to thumbs up for Suzuki motors that they did reach this speed, i never thought Suzuki will ever reach the 300km/h mark, now it exceeded it, ita not a supercar after all.

exacly, its just a mediocre small sallon and that is why it is absolutly pointless. Who goes to buy a suzuki and cares about the fact that it reached the 300kms mark???? seriously...

How is this pointless. A couple of engineers put their heads together and created a car to set records at Bonneville, and had fun doing it. This car did exactly what it was built for, the fact that it returned a little extra publicity to Suzuki is just a plus for them. Using your logic all forms of racing are pointless. People do these things because they are hard to do, and that alone makes it worth doing. More people have been to the peak of Mount Everest than there is people who own a genuine 200mph club hat.

They will buy it because they can't afford the supercar. Suzuki is also top three for fastest growing car companies in the US and the Kizashi is leading the companies charge.

this is the same kind of engineering we see in Rally. what's the point of a 400hp 4 wheel drive turbo charged peugeot 206 that nobody can buy? this was ironic, kudos to suzuki.

come on now all and start buy suzuki :D its most fastest car in the world!!!!!! And its nothing that everything else in that car is cr.p :D ooo yee, one more thing, i realy like to feel how that car feels inside when its doing 200mph :D

I know this is hard to understand, but outside your little ring of freinds and peers, there is a huge group of people who spend their lives dreaming of racing and winning at Bonneville. It's this passion that makes vehicles like this so amazing. I recommend you go to your local video store and find the movie "The Worlds Fastest Indian". Trick your freinds into coming by telling them you are going to play Magic the Gathering and watch. Maybe you will get a little insight as to what goes on at Bonneville.

Suzuki also has the Swift Sport which is a hell of a little devil to throw around town. Doesn?t look half bad either.
