Twin-turbo Enzo features a power rating upwards of 850 bhp (634 kW)

What would Enzo Ferrari have to say about adding twin-turbo chargers to his namesake?

This restored/remade Ferrari Enzo will make its public debut at the Bonneville Speed Week in Utah this week. It's owner, Richard Losee, crashed the car in a rally back in 2006 and decided to remake it in a more original guise as a salt flat speedster contender.

This Enzo features twin-turbochargers fitted onto its stock 6.0 liter V12 making it good for 850 bhp (634 kW) as opposed to the standard model's 651 bhp (485 kW). That's at a low boost of 11-12 lbs. The boost may later be taken up to between 18 and 20 lbs, putting the power rating at around 1,000 bhp (746 kW).

This twin-turbo-ed Enzo also comes with slimmer tires, an aerodynamics-enhancing carbon-fiber nose as well as a lowered suspension in order to properly take on the salt flats of Utah to achieve a white-hot top speed. That nose will make the Enzo aerodynamically stable at speeds of around 300 mph (483 km/h).

No details are offered on what that top speed could realistically be but we can expect it to be significantly higher than the Enzo's standard 226 mph (364 km/h) rating even if it falls short of the 300 mph mark.

The Bonneville Speed Week takes places this week in the Great Salt Lake Desert in Bonneville, Utah, 88 miles (142 km) west of Salt Lake City.

"It's owner, Richard Losee, crashed the car in a rally back in 2006" Now this is a guy who knows how to use his Enzo properly, how about a rally?! hahahaha More amazing though is the fact that Ferrari had to pre-approve the purchasers of the Enzo...great research they made don't u think?! not

LS7.. I have been to places like Abu Dhabi as well as Dubai.. & trust me.. the only unmodified cars that run on the roads are Taxis.. people have much more money than taste there.. tuning shops make a fortune in such places..

if im correct, 399 enzo's were built. Many have been crashed.. and many have been highly modified by tuning houses like Edo, Gemballa.... how many untouched are left?
