this is so true, I live in china and work for car industry, there is nothing easier than selling a car in China, I met chinese people who actually doesn?t write or read even Chinese language but driving top German luxury cars. plenty of new wealthy people here, but I guess new generations will ruin this economic blast because they grow rich, and they are so spoiled being the only kid in the family.

your logic is totally wrong. higher population doesn't mean sell more cars! it's the matter of economy & the wealth of people within population. simply saying, why everyone rely on the China market? the wealth.

id rather say i didnt metion the economic boom china was and still is in. thats most likely the point why german carmakers arent taht dependent on the idian market e.g.

China is the West's Frankenstein's Monster. Naturally, American politicians won't have a clue in hell what happened or what to do WHEN China starts to exert its power.

Yes Audi, BMW and MB really made lots of money in China. Despite volume, cars sold in China have quite high margin as they're normally well equiped! Also China is not a big market for like C, 3er etc. but a huge market for like S-Class, 7er, Q7, X5, X6, etc...
