What with the A7 having been released, it's not like they don't have the platform build on. Not much of a surprise, really. Nevertheless, this is tremendous news.

Oh my, a four door coupe based on a super-car which doesn't look weird.

Along with the BMW Gran Coupe, the best-looking four-door I've seen in a long time.

Gallardo for grownups? How about "4 door Reventon". I think it is sick.

It looks phenomenal but sports car manufactures degrade themselves by building sedans/SUV?s.It is very profitable business but beneath them. Then again,Audi has very little respect for Lambo name.If Audi respected Lambo name & heritage, they wouldn?t be putting Lambo engines in their boring ?S? sedans.

Lambo doesn't have ALL that heritage, certainly not anywhere near Ferrari or Porsche. Everyone knows the economy is in the shitter and cars like the Estoque could significantly put cash in Lambo's pocket for further developments (they'll need to start toying with hybrid/E-cell sooner or later). The Estoque absolutely should go into production, even at 250k-300k, it would sell extremely well. The Estoque is by far the best looking super sports sedan I've ever seen, and I'm not alone. There's a growing market for that. Even Bugatti wants a piece of the pie with their upcoming Gallibier 16C. I say build it!

Sorry to be the voice of decension but I think this car is ugly. Maybe it looks better in person. Even if it did it will water down the Lamborghini brand and why? For money? Perhaps. Since Lambo has been tossed around like a cheap hooker over the decades I guess it is all about money for whoever the suitor may be at the time. I have more respect for Ferrari now for not going this route like Porsche and Lamborghini. Well, Ferrari does make a sedan, but they are smart enough to call it a Maserati and keep the Ferrari image pure. As for Lambo, I'll keep my fond, childhood memories of the white Countach LP 5000 S that adorned my bedroom wall.

...and there it was, surrounded by a choir of Italian angels singing "Aleluya"... Because they have finally realized that regardless how ugly a car can be, if you marketed like a "4 door coup?" you are going to make money. Thats because they saw the success of their cousins: Audi & Porsche.
In their defense, I must say, that the Estoque is far better looking than the other vehicles that might share the same platform (Audi A7 or Porsche Panamera). Besides, it's not the first Lamborghini to have 4 door. Any one remembers the LM002? The Italian granddaddy of the HUMMER H1?(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lamborghini_LM002)

Nice car, no doubt about it. Now let's see them build it and be worth the price...it'll still be hard pressed to perform like the Panamera. No matter what you nay sayers have to say, the Panamera is the ONLY 4 door sports car out there. "Ugly" and "weird"? I disagree, it's a far better looking car in person.

Destined to be the most exclusive sports car saloon once made! See it as a four-door Reventon and you get the idea of what Merc CLS, Porsche Panamera, Aston Martin Rapide, Maserati Quattroporte and Audi A7 are all up against! What an evocative name too.
