Glorious overkill

I can tell you right now, that with those low profile hoops he has for tires in the back, there is no way this thing will hook up on the track. So the title "Dragster" is not fitting at all. This car is simply an over the top tuning job and I personally love it. A guy that puts this much effort into his car to make it one of a kind deserves a pat on the back. This is genuine one-off, more exclusive than a Bugatti Veyron being that I have seen 3 of those on the streets but have seen no 2010 Camaro that is anywhere near this radical.

What were you going for...general abundance? Not a car guy, a rich guy. I'm just thankful this guy's Canadian so everyone's not ripping on Americans.

I really think both of you are being very judgemental towards this guy. He built the car for what he likes and a true car guy that wants to customize his car should do it the way they like not the way mainstream society says he should build it. I admire that this guy did this to his car, I personally am not a stereo or woofer guy. But props to him. I would love to have a 70 1/2 split bumper done with full road race chassis tuned a little softer for the road and some luxuries added so I can drive it on long trips and not feel like I am driving the flintstone mobile. And in Australia this would truly stand out against the Holdens and Falcons.

"drive it on long trips"
you are kidding right? with 1400hp Turbo V8 6.0, you will have to stop at every gas station you see.

Bet you this piece of junk spends a lot of time on the back os a tow truck.Friend has a brand new SS and stalled twice for no apparent reason in 2 weeks and stereo knobs came off along with shift cover.

You need to teach your friend how to drive a stick shift. Make him go barefoot so he can feel the actuation of the clutch better. Then, without insulting his intelligence, kindly inform him that the knobs are for turning and the shifter cover is cosmetic and that yanking on them will result in damage. I hope warranty didn't cover that. I would have called that abuse and charged him for it.

The GM 4L80 transmission used in the pickups is one of the most robust transmissions of all time. Then when further modified using TCI internals it puts the thrust capacity well into the range to handle over 2000hp. His engine modifications basically made the choice for him when it came to transmission selection, as well as the Moser solid rear axle instead of IRS.

I wish WCF had added a video with sound. I'd die to hear the engine and the pipes of it...

No matter even if they put gold into any american car it cannot cost sooo much...
July 30, 2010 8:52 am
Check out Barret-Jackson, the top vehicle is $5,000,000 Shelby Cobra Super Snake. That has no gold in it at all so your comment has been debunked.

People making comments above don't even know how to change a tire, yet are making fun of tuners achievements... Ignorance at its best?
