Audi has released a new promotional video of the 2011 A7 Sportback.

Recently unveiled at the Pinakothek der Moderne museum, the A7 "combines the emotional character of a grand coupe, the comfort and prestige of a sedan and the active practicality of a station wagon." It measures 4.97 meters (16.31 ft) long, 1.91 meters (6.27 ft) wide, and 1.42 meters (4.66 ft) high. More importantly, the luggage compartment holds 1,390 liters (49.09 cu ft) of cargo.

Under the hood, four different V6 engines will be offered. While Audi has been mum on details, we can expected a 3.0-liter TDI with 150 kW (204 PS / 201 hp), a 3.0-liter TDI with 184 kW (253 PS / 247 hp), and a supercharged 3.0-liter petrol with 200 kW (272 PS / 268 hp).

On sale this fall, prices will start at €51,650.

The high-pitched sound is made by a grasshopper. The ticking sound heard when the car drives by the camera at 1:20 and onwards is probably caused by a tiny rock stuck in a groove of a tire, making the sound every time it hits the road.

0:52 sounds like bavarian: "ne is ok. laft." english: "no it's ok. works."

Actually looks better on the road than I thought it would... though rear 3/4 view is still horrible.

It looks like other Audis and for me it's a bit boring. This car is for someone who wanted to buy an A8 but as he/she walkaround A8 , found it boring and wants something nicer with similar price tag, options etc. Maybe S7 will be much more interesting

It's not about if we hate Audi or not, but when a car looks ugly then it's ugly, hate Audi or not it's a fact, both A8 and this A7 have an ugly rear. The only Audi i respect is the current A8 (not the new one)

And btw even if we hate Audi so what then? You may hate Mercedes or BMW so you are a kid also

as far as i am concerned i don`t hate BMW or Mercedes, i just don`t care, their cars are good but they don´t touch me emotionally and that´s why u hardly find me in threads of those 2.

Audi Haters??? I`m not an Audi hater not a BMW lover, actually I think the BMW 5GT it`s a very ugly car... just I don`t like this... For me, the best Audi work is the R8, just a magnificent car, and or course it`s clear that Audi won`t be too bitter about that... For me, precisely, Audi don`t touch me emotionally at all...

honestly, this is a 5 door hatchback. Marketing gimmicks aside, I like 5 door hatchbacks. I wish Saab would have made the new 9-5 a 5 door hatchback.

Wow the A7's design is really growing on me. I'd probably take this over a CLS, and perhaps the A8.
